Last time I spoke with a BMW salesman about leasing a 2008 328xi, he
said that the interest rate (money factor) doesn't fluctuate based on
your credit.  You are either approved for the lease or not.  Is this

Hello.  New to group.
My father's transmission went out on him on the highway last weekend, and he
needs to replace it.  It's an '83 320i with a 5-speed manual Getrag 240.
Anybody know where I can get one of those?

Over the past week or so, I will be driving down the road and all of a
sudden, the fan stops blowing.   With or without the air conditioner,
there is no air flow.  If I keep fooling around with the buttons,
eventually it will come back on and it is blowing cold.  Does anyone know
