When buying or leasing a BMW in California, is there Doc fees or any
other fees?
Sometimes the dealer just add on whatever fees and we as the consumer
just sign the contract and pay for it.

the heater just started blowing cold air one day last week.   And
never return to blowing hot even after car is warmed up and is running
for 30min or more..

Anyone have useful tips for breaking in (not breaking into) a new
BMW.

need new lock & lock lugs, mine are now mangled from normal use.
What are the best as far as quality of stud/durability of lock interface
(not get chewed up like sh.t sold at K Mart!)

Another poster on here stated that his BMW transmission (auto) went
out on him pretty early.  There was a link to another site with a long
list of people whose BMW transmission went out on them...mostly these
were 2000 and 2001 years, I didn't see any older.

I received conflicting opinions about replacing the clutch in my 1997
328i (88  K miles).
1. From an independent BMW shop: "Don't let it go too far or you'll
have to replace the flywheel too."

ARe the 2004 3 series auto transmissions the same junk that is in the
2000 and 2001 3 series?  Does anyone know?
On another related note, are the manual transmissions junk too?  Do
they fail after 80K miles or so?
