E36- Moaning/ Groaning Noise From Right Passenger Side Wheel Well10 Jan 2008 14:01 GMT5
E36 ('96 328i) emits moaning/ groaning noise from the front passenger
wheel frequently when I go in reverse and turn the wheel.  Not only
does it make a noise but I can feel it in the steering wheel a bit.
I've ignored it for the past year, as I thought it might be the brake

trip odometer fix09 Jan 2008 03:49 GMT1
My trip odometer reset stick on my '92 E34 doesn't work.  You can press it all day and it does nothing.  How big of a pain is it to get into there and fix/replace?  Note: the other stick on the dash besides the trip odometer (can't even remember what that one's supposed to do) ...
Diagnosis please! Overheating, coolant leak, white smoke and     misfires.09 Jan 2008 01:57 GMT13
('99 323, 100k miles) Ok, so I've had a slow coolant leak issue for
months now, took it to 3 different BMW independent specialists, and it
is still giving me trouble. The overheating as well as the coolant
tank and check engine light coming on and off every second day is
Noise from *front* of my car08 Jan 2008 16:11 GMT5
My e38 has started making a mild knocking noise, mainly when
I'm backing up, and when the car is cold.  Sounds to me
like it may be coming from the right side, but hard to tell.
Wheel bearing going bad maybe?  Noise vanishes after
Rear wiper on a Z Coupe07 Jan 2008 22:32 GMT2
The rear wiper worked perfectly for 7 years and just suddenly stopped
working. The washer still responds to input from the stick on the
steering wheel column. Anyone experienced this?

would like to explore having it serviced outside of the BMW dealer network.

Service Indicator lights06 Jan 2008 16:42 GMT3
I was just thinking that my '92 E34 doesn't know if I'm using dino or synthetic oil, so does that mean the service light indicators are worthless?  I can't remember when synthetic started becoming the "norm" for high end cars, but I'm thinking it was after '92.  Any thoughts on ...

Removing personalised plate when selling vehicle?04 Jan 2008 17:57 GMT17
I am about to advertise and sell my 2004 BMW M3 and this car currently
has a personalised plate on it which I want to keep.  I have looked on
DVLA's site and found the "V317 Transferring a Vehicle Registration
Number" and also "V778/1 Retention of a Vehicle Registration Number",

E46 Touring Tailgate Washer Jet Removal : How to get to it ?03 Jan 2008 15:21 GMT2
I have a year 2000 E46 330D Touring with the high rear spoiler over the
back window.  When I spray the rear washer water comes out but it slides
down the window instead of out the nozzle.  I'm assuming that the problem is
that the nozzle must be blocked or pipe has become loose.
Changed my "lifetime" tranny fluid...02 Jan 2008 16:01 GMT3
...and rear differential fluid, at 87,000 miles, on my 2000 323i.
I was in for an "inspection 1", and asked about BMW's change of policy
regarding that "lifetime" tranny fluid.  The service rep conceded,
