I have a 2001 E39 528i sport, but this is probably a common problem on
any car.  Does anyone know how to restore the black plastic trim to
its original (non-oxdized) condition.  I found a product that works
for a couple weeks.  Anything better out there?

Anyone know why this might be? I can't pull the driver's seat belt out
to put it on. There's absolutely no slack at all, it's just strapped
tight against the door post. Is there an electrically operated cam
inside that clamps the belt in case of collision or something? Access

My son started it fine. Drove about 4-5 miles and the engine stalled and
would not restart.
He notice a pop in the radio at the time. I tested the battery at about
