To all, My father-in-law has a 2001 740i automatic that has been through 2 batteries. The last battery was added in 2006. The Local BMW dealer has always installed the batteries, never a small shop

my car has developed a groaning sound (sound likes bad bearing on pulley or something like this) coming from engine bay. It's still under warranty so I figure I'll wait until it breaks so I can take it to dealer.

my 328i was parked in a parking garage. everything was fine when i left it there and when i was drivng before . no spongy brakes ect. i get a call next day there was an accident when an attendant drove it.

I started getting door rattling from the rear doors. Car is still under warranty so took it to dealer and they said the door seals are the source of the problem. The door seals are NOT covered by warranty and cost approx $300 per door (total of $1200!!!).

I wonder if anyone can help me here. Can I reset the service interval lights myself, using a jumper at the diagnostic connector, or do I have to get this done at the dealer? I do all my own service work, but I do not have this gadget.

Good evening. Have Just bought '88 325i Touring. But the Electric Sunroof (metal) will not fully close/bed down. It Retracts ok, but seems to stall near the end closing. There is about an inch or so gap. No Luck with manually trying to shift it!

Hi, I've seen people ask in the past, so I'm posting here incase anyone is interested. You can fit the 350ish mm long high capacity 019 style battery in an E46 instead of the smaller 096. My 019 is 100Ah and 900CCA compared to the 75Ah and 680CCA of the 096.

Inherited a problem here. Rear-left wheel is making noises like a bell when I hit bumps in the road. Any idea what it could be, and if I could fix it without being gauged at the shop? Also do I have to go to a BMW dealer to get the INSPECTION light
