I was driving along, and at the traffic lights, while the car is
idling, felt it revved erratically. The car died at the fruit market
(which I think was to do with the battery), then after starting it,
the transmission warning light came on.

I am interested in trading my Acura TL, and have
narrowed the most likely possible replacements to
the Lexus is250 and the BMW 325i, both with manual
transmission.

I have an E36 BMW 330i . The in car audio is the original BMW Pro -
augmented with a Dension IceLink Ipod connector.
I think the head is on its way out. It will often fail to see the
Dension, then when I connected back the CD changer to troubleshoot it

When I start my car the GPS system turns on and displays the accept
agreement message.
Is there any way to keep the GPS turned off until I need it?

Anyone know where the gearbox oil filler plug is on '04 745i. Is it the one
directly above the sump pan joint on the drivers side (RHS, UK) or is there
one further up?

my OBDII is report error code P1397, which according to my research is a
Camshaft Position Sensor B (exhaust) fault.  Are there any online instructions
on how to change this?  The only one I found was for the E62 engine, not the
E52.  Also, opinions gladly welcomed:

I was wondering why BMW's in Europe appear to be named E39 or something

Hi I am a new owner of a 1999 bmw535i E39 (V8). the car has done about
140,000km ( 85000m?). there is a small fan sound behind the ready
panel even the car is turned off and door locked. is it normal? also,
the car has full bmw service ( last oil change was about 9000miles

I'm currently looking at a few late models 3 Series Coupes.  Some mention
they have a "BMW Business Radio".  What the hell is that ??

When driving a bendy road - I am getting a slight rattle when turning.
I have already put vaseline on the door seals so I dont think it is
the door seals - any ideas?
