I could not turn my car off, the key was already in the off position an would not turn, disconnected battery and car still didnt shut off, had t pull the fuel fuse before it would shut off, now the key turns all the wa around in the switch and will not start and idea what is wrong? ...

Touch wood. Last fall I asked for advice about my newly aquired BMW 325 which had a replaced fuel pump and tank clean out, but still ran out of fuel and stopped intermittently for months, making me the frequent object of pity and derision. This always happened on the way

Now that my 740IL has officially been laid to rest and is no doubt sitting in a warehouse in a square foot cube it's time to start looking for a new ride. There's a 2001 4.4L X5 for sale. I haven't checked the Carfax report yet

Has anyone had an X5 off road on the beach? I frequently go on the beaches and sand dunes of Cape Cod, and in the process I have to take my Ford Excursion down since it's my only 4-wheel drive vehicle. I'd much rather drive my 540 to the Cape, but that would rule out any beach ...
