Following several '41' errors, once followed by a limp home mode episode, I replaced the sensor with one from Febi. The sensor came with a gasket that was rather small in cross section. I bought the "thicker" one

1998 e39 bmw 528i sedan. The speedometer DO NOT read at all. The gas gauge is not reading correct, it would read 3/4 tank but you would run out of gas. And read empty when tank is full.... it does what it wants to do. The temperature gauge is never centered.. the needle

1998 M3 E36 70k miles I have some slow (but getting faster) leaks from the radiator and some hoses. An independent BMW servicer advises to replace the ENTIRE cooling system (radiator, t-stat, all hoses, exp. tank...everything)

The warning light indicating a failure of the rear bulb keepings coming on every now and then. This has been going on for a couple of months. The bulbs are all fine and all the lights seem to be working OK. The contacts looks good, too.
