Wild a.s Rumor of the Day: BMW Buying Opel08 Dec 2008 10:25 GMT1
You gotta love an autoblogger who writes "After all, the recent cancellation of the luxurious 4-seat coupe previewed by the concept CS shows that the current BMW management are acting, how should I say it? like a bunch of pussies." [I don't agree but I appreciate the, uh, ...
Steptronic gearbox problem.08 Dec 2008 08:49 GMT41
2000 reg BMW E46 330i 90k miles.
Problem selecting reverse gear. Sometimes it does sometimes it
doesn't.
All forward gears work as normal.
engine cuts off and check engine light comes on, after oil change,     '89 325i08 Dec 2008 04:59 GMT20
I would really appreciate someone's help with this!
Just had an oil change Monday; car was fine before that.
Monday car hesitated while starting; later in the day check engine
light came on for a few seconds while driving, but no power less.
E46 Sport/Torture Seat!07 Dec 2008 21:15 GMT4
Picked up an '03 330Ci convertible, with the sport package. WTF is
with the seat??  Sure, it's nice and cozy at first, keeps you all snug
when cornering, but it's killing me on longer drives!  Actually,
longer drives used to mean all day stuff, but now it means anything
E39 540 heater query07 Dec 2008 20:06 GMT4
All,
Suffered a cracked coolant expansion tank last week and lost approx half
coolant limping it back to garage.
All fixed now but the cab heater seems to have a mind of it's own - mainly
Xenon or bi-xenon?06 Dec 2008 18:54 GMT7
Just another question related to xenon lights - my five year old BMW E46
320d has the xenon option, but I've noticed that only the daytime running
lights are xenon lights. Shouldn't the high beams be xenon as well?
I've always assumed xenon to mean bi-xenon, but after I noticed ...
RPM Wheels05 Dec 2008 18:06 GMT13
Does anyone have a set of these wheels on their car?  What quality is
the finish compared to OEM?  I have a 2005 M3 with 18" wheels I was
thinking of buying a set for.
The entire set of RPM R-505's is less money than only one 18" BBS RGR.
Bumper removal?04 Dec 2008 23:13 GMT3
I have a BMW 525 manufactured in 2005, and after an unfortunate collision
the parking sensor on the rear bumper has been pushed in. I'm wondering if I
can fix it. Presumably the first step is to remove (or at least loosen) the
rear bumper.
530i E39 windscreen wiper fails in heavy rain02 Dec 2008 22:53 GMT5
I have had this car from new in 2001. On about 5 occasions, each time in
heavy rain, the windscreen wiper has stopped working after operating for a
few minutes. The only way to get it working again is to stop the car, switch
off and then restart the engine. The wiper then works ...
