     I am in Saskatchewan Canada and just bought a used 2003 Z4 Roadster
with a soft top. It has 28 thousand kilometers on it (15 thousand miles)and
was mostly stored and driven by a middle aged couple...... It esentially is
new inside and out. Has an inline 6 cylinder 3 l motor ...

I am in the market for a very solid used "small car". Have noticed that a

You are _supposed_ to be able to lock and unlock the doors by using the key
in the trunk lid.
My car ONLY does this if I do not open and close the doors first. I can
cycle the ignition by reaching through the window, adn then the trunk lock

I have a 2000 E39 (528i)
Two years ago my ABS, DSC and speedometer became inop. I was told the ABS
module went bad.
I sent it to a place that repairs them. When I recieved it back, I put it

Daughter borrowed my '02 540i (w/sport), got a flat, I went to help....great....no lug wrench. Going back today with a variety of sizes but it would really really help if anybody knew the size.

Let me try to describe the sound.  It doesn't happen all the time,
just after a lot of driving.  Occurs when turning, especially on
uneven road surfaces.  It can happen when I brake, though I don't

My '92 E34 525 was fitted with a driver's door lock heater in case of a
frozen lock. Operated by lifting the outside door handle. No factory
fitted alarm on that car - and operating it set off the aftermarket one.
So actually quite useful if a thief tried checking the door was ...

Two nights ago I was driving along and looked down and notice the temp
guage was in the red. Pulled over immediately and waited for it to cool
down. Started it up and drove for about two miles, everything was normal
and then it heated up again. Had to pull over and let her cool ...
