Sounds like it's about to turn over but just won't catch. Distributor
cap replaced three weeks ago due to crack. While trying to turn over a
friend checked to see if any sparks.... no sparks whatsoever from the
spark plugs. Any thoughts???

sunroof
shade seems to be off its track.  With the sunroof closed, the shade can be
opened

I put new brakes on my daughter's car, and a new sensor, but the light did
not go off. Does this one need to be reset?

Just drove a 328 xi (with AWD) for the first time and was surprised at
how stiff and insensitive the steering felt. Is this a common experience
with AWD BMW's?

When I got the car the trunk could not be opened by pressing on the
contact pad just above the license plate.
This last weekend the button on the interior of the car (by the
pedals) stopped working.

On the last couple of weeks I started noticing a strange "rattle"
sound coming from the engine bay.
The noise is can only be noticed  around 1000rpm (like when idling
when cold) and goes away in higher rpms.

I'm told by BMW techs that they MUST be replaced at each brake job.
I'm also told by a brake shop owner who works on BMWs among others

There was a website with all the oem style wheels, does
anyone know it ?

The car is a 1997 323i Saloon with air con, and the fan has just started
making a low frequency warble/vibration that varies with motor speed
setting.  It seems to work ok still although my partner thought she
smelt burning when it started.
