| 15" or 12" Sub | 30 Nov 2003 19:32 GMT | 3 |
I purchased a 15" RF sub (1000w RMS, 2000w peak) a couple of years ago and it has been sitiing in my garage ever since. Now I want to upgrade my current system and I'm not sure if I should use the 15" RF that I already own or buy a 12" Audiobahn AW1206T (possibly two). I listen to

| Wal-Mart 4 Gauge amp kits... Thumbs up!! | 30 Nov 2003 19:09 GMT | 9 |
Just picked up one today and It gets 2 thumbs up from me. Quality components for under $30. The distribution block is not a 1in - 4out type. It is a 1 in 2 out. But the 2 outputs can accomodate up to 4Gauge.

| Alpine MAnuals | 30 Nov 2003 17:47 GMT | 3 |
Looking to see if anyone has an owner's manual for the Alpine 7347 deck, the 3330 EQ and the 5950 CD Changer. Alpine doesn't have them, and neither do any of manual sites on the net. Will pay if you make copies of yours and mail them to me.

| Newbie question - Better sound for my olds | 30 Nov 2003 14:55 GMT | 3 |
OK This might sound awfully simplistic to y'all - but here goes. I just bought a 94 Olds 98. Nice ride, got it cheap. There's only one problem. It's got a basic am/fm/cassette, and it's got steering wheel

| !!! amp question | 30 Nov 2003 10:17 GMT | 1 |
I have a small amp powering my 6x9's and a bigger one for my subs. Somtimes my 6x9's will sound kind of distorted, they sound like a radio station not tunned perfectly in frequency, but you can still hear the music? That is exactly how my speakers sound and sometimes they'll cut out ...

| Fixing some old MTX subs | 30 Nov 2003 03:42 GMT | 3 |
Hey everybody, I'm new to the car audio stuff. I don't have very much money for a sub system at all, but I was just given 2 12" MTX subs in a box. However, they are old, I think 4-5 years or more. I'm now looking for an amp, but that's not why I'm posting this. Just to test them ...

| IDQ v2d2 12 - Which box spec to pick? | 29 Nov 2003 23:05 GMT | 3 |
I tried searching... I can't decide what size of sealed box to pick. ID provides 3 specifications, Large 1.0, Normal .85 and Small .55. I pretty much excluded the small and I'm trying to decide between the other two. I have 800w RMS

| RCA -> speakers without amp? | 29 Nov 2003 19:12 GMT | 3 |
Sorry if this is a lame question - I'm very much a newbie. I picked up this cheap dvd player at a store locally (this is in no way an advertisement): http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3060972638&category=32825

| Wire harness adaptor (Pioneer DEH-P7500MP vs Mazda MX-3) | 29 Nov 2003 17:29 GMT | 3 |
Sigh. I need to connect my new Pioneer to my old Mazda, and they just won't work together :) I got an Mazda <-> ISO adaptor from the local shop, which would "fit in 96% of the new stereos". Well it seems mine is one of the lucky 5%? The kit has two 8 pin connectors, while my

| Sony CDX MP450 and XM radio | 29 Nov 2003 17:10 GMT | 1 |
Does anyone know if the Sony CDX-MP450X head unit can control a XM radio through the "UniLink" interface? I want to get a Satellite radio for my Daughter but do not want to have to add a separate control box for the XM. She also does not have

| Power Needs | 29 Nov 2003 06:12 GMT | 7 |
I have a 2002 GMC Sonoma with a 100 amp alternator and the factory battery. I will be adding a 1500 Watt RMS Memphis amp to my system within the next month or so. I REALLY don't want to do any drilling or cutting. So I have a few questions.

| Hifonics Help | 29 Nov 2003 02:21 GMT | 6 |
I'm thinking of purchasing a Hifonics Zues 440A Amp to drive 4 Pionee TS-A6880 6X8's (50W RMS, 220W Max). The amp is rated (conservatively) 55W RMS X 4 @ 4 ohms, 110W Max X 4. Will extra 5 watts RMS eventuall kill these speakers, or am I being just paranoid. Also, does anyon
