I am building a box where the port needs to be 9" long. My max inside dimension is 11". Will that put the port too close to the box wall to allow adequate airflow? The application is not car audio. Actually, home audio. A custom cabinet

I have a 1986 cj7 and I am looking to put some speakers in the stock dash location. I know they are 5 1/4" speakers but crutchfield.com says they don't stock any that will fit. the speakers mount from the back on studs so they will need a spacer so that the cone don't hit the dash ...

If you match up the capacity of the sub enclosure to the subwoofer you have exactly, would there be any need to stuff the box if all gaps are already filled with sealant. also would it make any difference if the box is ported/sealed
