    How do you feel about installing equipment that the customer
provides?  I'm asking because I'm in the middle of an installation on

Bought a 'new' (2000) Astra SXi last night. Car great, but getting ignition
noise on AM only. Car's only done 19k and is fully serviced and pretty much
as good as new......any ideas how to stop this very annoying prob ?

Are these accurate to measure the SPL inside the vehicle in the drivers
seat?I know it probably wont be dead accurate but is it close? My local car
audio shop wants 65 dollars to test SPL.This seems a little absurd for a 5
minute operation.I could buy the SPL meter at radio shack ...

Hi everyone...
Are there any tiny compact car amplifiers out there?  I once bought I think
it was a Nakamichi amp about 14 watt's/ch as I recall that was only a little
bigger than a pack of cigarettes.  Does anything like that exist today?

I've got an older Mercedes, a 300SDL, and the trunk is pretty solid/dead.
No wonder the mob loves these cars!  I'd like to put subs in there since
they can't go anywhere else but I don't know how to put them.  What would
work the best?  Facing them downwards, backwards(out the back) ...
