Just out of curiousity, if I install a sub system with a stock radio I need to use a line converter. With this line converter I would only get a few volts for output for my RCAs. But with an aftermarket radio I could get like 3-5 volts. For those who say stick with a stock radio

I have a car with 2 separate radio slots (originally one for a cassette player and one for a radio radio). Since I have now changed to one unit, the empty slot looks a bit ugly with lots of wire and bare steel behind it.

Hello...i went to the "best" car audio shop in my city (certified radio). I was inquiring about a sequrity system for my car. They told me that start disable can wear down a starter over time and ruin them...so I have to sign a waver form inorder for them to hook that

I have a hifonics 1500 brutus amp powering 4 Kicker CompVR 12's right now. I had 5 but one seized up. I have 3 of them ran parrelel and 1 series for a 1.16 ohm load. The problem is that it is not very loud. My 2 old Kicker CompVR 12's with my Fosgate power 1000 blows these away. ...
