| 1993 Rx-7 Antenna Question | 27 Jan 2004 01:00 GMT | 4 |
All, I installed a new head unit in my RX-7. In doing so I found that the factory antenna (non-Bose system) is not the normal single plug. The plug is more like something you would see plugged into a computer circuit board.

I had this idea for a summer project to keep me entertained: I have been reading about making home stereo speakers. I want to do this using car speakers, not traditionally hi-fi speakers, anyone tried it?

| Vibration Damping and Sound Absorbing | 26 Jan 2004 20:01 GMT | 3 |
I'm building a system in a 1991 Toyota Camry and plan on installing some kind of material throughout the interior to reduce outside noise. It's damn loud inside compared to modern cars, plus I'll be driving two JL 12W6s in the trunk, so I definitely need something.

| Newbie Q re: little black cylinders | 26 Jan 2004 19:22 GMT | 6 |
I am in the process of replacing the factory headrest speakers in my Miata. As this seemed to be a pretty straightforward job, I figured I'd do it myself even though I've never messed with car audio before. I ordered 2 pairs of 3 1/2'' Infinities (need a pair for each seat)

I am looking for a subwoofer for my car. I currently have 400 watts RMS into 4 ohms, and I would like to push a single 12" driver. I have a small hatchback, and I don't want to use up too much space, so I would like to put the sub into something like a one cubic foot sealed

I have a '96 Honda Civic that came with an AM/FM radio -- no cassette, no CD. (It also came with a ProLock security system, since removed.) I decided that I'd like to have tape and possibly CD; I have one of those cassette things that you put in the tape drive, plug into a

My 92 Accord EX has 6.5" speaker slots, but I like the sound and thump of 6x9's. How can I safely cut a speaker hole big enough to fit 6x9s? Otherwise, what are some powerful enough 6.5"s that can bump pretty damn loud without burning out and still sound clear? What kind of amp
