I intend to purchase either the DEI 1100d5 or Viper 1100.5 but was
curious if there are actually any real differences between the two
other than cosmetics since their specs look identical.  Because of the
discontinuation clearance I can get either model new for $450 so price

Is there anything special about car audio interconnects?  Is there any
reason a well-made home audio interconnect would not perform well in a
car audio system?
Sorry, if this is a dumb question.  It seems intuitive to me that

Strange interference03 Feb 2004 22:46 GMT4
Just recently upgraded my system to a Pioneer DEH-P77MP - excellent headunit
(apart from the bright display).
My problem is that I am getting interference on the system, the like of
which I've not heard before.

Dual 8" vs single 10 or dual 10"03 Feb 2004 22:16 GMT2
Question from a newbie
Assuming equivalent drivers, sufficient power etc are dual 8"s more

I know in home audio, 3 8"'s like Vandersteen is well regarded.  And good

More power to my components...03 Feb 2004 19:41 GMT5
I'm wondering if there will be a difference in sound out of my components in
the front of my car if I give them alot more power.  I am giving them 50 watts

channel amp they would get 160 a piece....  They ...
circuit city, day 203 Feb 2004 16:36 GMT5
After reading all the helpful advice from you guys, I went back to Circuit

Beforehand, I called Tweeter and they said they could fix it but it would
be 45 bucks an hour and would likely take around one hour.  ...

Pioneer AVH-P7500DVD questions03 Feb 2004 02:33 GMT6
I'm thinking about buying one of these primarily for DVD-Audio capability,
but I'd like to hear about any other "issues" there might be with this unit.
I'd especially like to hear about audio quality and tuner quality. Also, how
good is the navigation option?
