The situation : I want to install a pair of 6.5 inches mid-bass drivers in custom 7 litres closed enclosure located at the rear of my *small* car. Below 80 Hz is already covered by a NHT 1259 in a 2.5 cu-feet sealed enclosure, also at the rear and powered by an Alpine 3549 amp

I'm doing a swap of my Alpine 7930 with a other 7930. I cant seem to figure out get the trim ring out. It has two silver things one on each side. Any help on how to get the unit out is greatly appreciated.

I have a Pioneer DEH-P3500 that was installed a couple of months ago with basic RCA cables plugged into the AUX port of my head unit. I have a Y-adapter that converts the RCA into a 1/4" headphone jack so that I can plug in an iPod, laptop, etc.

i have a v12 f705 amp. it keeps on shutting off and turning the protection lead on whenever i turn up the volume and the bass is loud. i tried to open it and found out that the resistors in ch1&2 are blown. i tried replacing them with the same value (2.2ohms/1watt)
