How to attach PPI Art Series amp spacers?24 Apr 2004 22:46 GMT1
I've got three PPI Art Series amps and two spacers, and I'd like to
connect them all together so they look like one long amp.  The spacers
fit nicely between the amps, but I can't figure out how to attach them
in place.  I thought they might use the screws that hold the endplates
biggest capacity cd changers??24 Apr 2004 01:43 GMT4
I have a Pioneer head unit. I have an old 12 cd changer. I have over 100
cd's and would make it easier to have as much of my disks loaded in the
changer. I heard that there were like a 50 disk changers. Is this true? I
can't seem to find any info on the internet. Thanks.
And how about that Ashcroft ??23 Apr 2004 22:05 GMT5
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. Attorney General John Ashcroft (news - web
sites) told the Sept. 11 commission on Tuesday the Clinton
administration bore most of the blame for the attacks because it
allowed the nation's defenses to wither for eight years.
noise even when radio and engine both off23 Apr 2004 20:43 GMT4
This seems so odd to me.  I am getting noise from my speakers even
when my radio and engine are both off.  It does go away when I turn
the power off.  It is worse when the engine is on and I step on the
accelerator--the whine increases.

Sigh. I dropped the faceplate to what is a great deck IMHO, shattering
the lcd into about 48 pieces. Now i have no visuals, but still good
sound. I assume I can purchase the face plate alone, yet it is not
present on ebay, and I cannot seem to dig it up anywhere else other
Bridging Amp23 Apr 2004 04:26 GMT2
I have 2 Alpine Type R 10" (4 ohm SVC).  I run them off my amp which
is two channel, and run them off seperate channels. I decided to try
bridging them down to 2 ohms, even though my amp is not rated for it.
It worked fine except that it continuuously blew my 80 amp circuit
Shallow Subwoofer Option23 Apr 2004 02:02 GMT9
I'm in the market for a subwoofer that needs to have a very shallow depth.
It's being crammed behind the seat of a regular cab pickup. I have about
.95ft^3 of airspace to work with, but depth is my real issue. I have about
4.5" to work with, which seems to be about an inch less than ...

Is 6.5 speakers the same as 6.75?22 Apr 2004 21:41 GMT2
I am trying to replace the factory speakers in my 2001 nissan pathfinder and
when I look up the speaker size it gives me 6.5" on some sites and 6 3/4 on
other. Some sites even have both. Will both actually fit or is it just
certain brands? Can anyone shed some light on the subject?
What Gauge Power Cable Do I Need for...22 Apr 2004 21:36 GMT12
I have a Pioneer GM-X924 and I haven't used this thing in four years.  I
can't remember what fuses it has, but some 3rd party sites claim it has two
60A fuses in it!!!  That sounds pretty doggone high to me!  Or is that just
normal for a Class A amp?  Pioneer's site has no info ...
newbie q: subwoofer help please22 Apr 2004 21:19 GMT6
I just had a 12" woofer and 300 Watt amp installed in my car. I'm by
no means a car audio enthusiast, I just wanted to have a fuller sound
in my car that I wasn't getting from my stock system. It's a strong
sound, but I can only really hear it well on songs with lots of bass
