A piller gauge pods as tweet pods17 Apr 2004 08:18 GMT1
Anyone ever tried this?  Seems like it would be much simpler than custom
making a pod assuming I could find right hand side pods as well.

opinion of illusion audio nd6.1 component set17 Apr 2004 08:13 GMT1
I didn't find much in the way of these with a google search of this group,
I'm wondering what the general audiophile opinion of these are?  I was
debating on purchasing some Dynaudio 240's, but someone offered me the 6.1's
as part of a trade and I'm curious as to how they compare to ...
Tweets in kickpanels? (More Dynaudio problems)17 Apr 2004 08:11 GMT13
While suffering through continual tweeter problems with my car, I've been
thinking about a slight relocation of the speakers. I'm running Dynaudio's
System 240MKII in my 2002 VW GTi, with the mids in the doors and the tweets in
the sail panel (low a-pillar) locations at the moment. ...
Sony XES Questions17 Apr 2004 08:09 GMT1
I would gratefully appreciate any help with this. The system is so old
its hard to find info on it. I just bought it used and they said
everything worked. I have the P1, X1, C1, and T1. I have connected the
P1 Display and Digital CPU with a Sony ES C710 head unit connected to
Damping Material Question17 Apr 2004 07:55 GMT68
I always thought the purpose for damping material was to keep sound
waves from bouncing off of the back/sides of the enclosure and back into
the driver causing distortion.
What is the deal with using damping material to fool the enclosure into
Car radio -> Computer room17 Apr 2004 06:45 GMT5
My car radio has always seemed to get excellent radio reception, so when
I decided to replace the stock head unit (2002 Mustang), I kept the
radio/cd player and later set it in my computer room in the house to add
as an audio input to my computer.
ID3tag software?17 Apr 2004 04:19 GMT11
Anyone know of any software that may have a link to freedb.org or gracenote
to automatically generate ID3 tags by looking at the filename?
Specifically, I'm after something that will not only write the Song name and
Artist, but also the Album name, track number, and perhaps year.
Question: Foam Speaker Baffles16 Apr 2004 19:30 GMT5
Hey guys, what do y'all think about those cheap foam speaker baffles?  I've
heard it tightens up the bass a little but wondered what you all think.
Can dimming lights blow head lights?16 Apr 2004 15:23 GMT10
I have a three amp system with a total fuse rating of 200A. I run zero
gauge back to a distribution block for power. I have a second zero
gauge distribution block for grounds. 4 gauge runs from the blocks to
the amps.
Truly the best brands please.16 Apr 2004 14:31 GMT11
I'm just trying to get an idea of the best possible products where
money is no object for car audio, and for that matter, home audio.
What that include Audison, and Vifa perhaps?
If somebody can give me a list of the highest priced, highest quality

enclosure size for an IDQ1216 Apr 2004 02:53 GMT6
I am planning on purchasing an IDQ12D2V.2 and I would like to know if
there would be a big difference between a sealed box with a volume of 1.0
cuft or one with a volume of 0.85 cuft.  I realize the larger box would
provide better low bass but would sacrafice some SPL.  Would anyone
