I'm a beginner installer and am having a problem getting started with replacing the rear speakers of my '90 Corolla. Can't figure out what to do first: remove rear deck "carpet" (or how to do it), or remove speaker coverings (how?) or what. Sorry to seem so dumb, I'm really

| Replacing mid-range driver in a component set | 05 Jul 2004 21:10 GMT | 1 |
I blew the one of the mid-range drivers in my Infinity Reference 610cs component set. As these speakers are about 8 years old I assume I can no longer obtain a matching driver. Is there any reason I can't replace the mid-range drivers with a new set that has similar specs?

| mixing speaker wire sizes? | 05 Jul 2004 03:20 GMT | 15 |
I just noticed that the speaker-level input connectors that came with my MTX404 amp have 18AWG wires attached to them. However the amp kit I bought contains 16 gauge speaker wire. Would connecting two different wires together be a bad idea? Should I go out and grab some 18 gauge

| Alpine CDA-7837 - Won't play some burned mixes | 04 Jul 2004 12:50 GMT | 15 |
I take all my CD's and compile them on my HDD, but this cd player won't play them. If its a burned copy of a normal retail CD it works, but it won't with mixs. Don't know why. Would there be a changer option that I could use that would recognize them?
