I thought MA audio was a good brand.  The local luqidation electronic
store that normal carries thump/pyrmiad etc etc  is now carrying MA
audio speakers,amps,subs...

Yep, got a 2004 Highlander. Lots of boom, no articulation. I'd like to
replace the speakers in the front doors with some coaxials. Crutchfield
says the speakers are 6.75 inches.

I have an old Orion that puts out about 60 watts @ 4 ohms per channel in 2
channel operation but jumps to 260 watts in bridge (mono) mode.   I was
wondering if the output in bridge mode is as clean as say two channel mode?
Is there a lot more distortion present in bridge mode?

I have been give a Pioneer radio cassette to install in my car. The
unit does not have an on/off button. I have wired it in an can only
get the button lights to work. How do I switch the radio on?

I am interested in which you think is better: Car audio equipment
developed by Japanese companies, or equipment developed by German
companies? To be honest, both have their strong points, but I would
have to say the German engineered equipment is far more solid,

These are 5.25" component speakers from ADS.  Several online retailers have
them aggressively priced as part of a closeout or clearance.  Can anyone
comment on the character of the sound produced by these units?

I have had two conflicting opinions on this issue.  My cellphone causes
feedback through my subwoofer.  The phone is a hand held phone (not
installed in the vehicle).

All, would it be possible to take the output of an small portable MP3

I have RCA cables for my home audio system, but they are ones I took
from my car stereo.  So for the audio L/R going from my tv to the
receiver, the cables are actually red and blue, used on one of my

I'm putting a 2nd battery in my trunk.  I have a 225 amp alternator, and a
250 amp isolator.  Why couldn't I attach both the alternator feed and the
1/0 going to the trunk to the middle terminal of the isolator, and my
