I have decided that I am going to install a _single_ subwoofer in my
car. I was wondering which subwoofer size would be right for me: 8" or
10"? I listen to mainly classic rock music, so I don't want it too
"boomy" like you hear in the city. I should also mention that I have a

I'd like to add a cd player or changer, and maybe a sub. I have no idea if
problem: sound cuts out on bumps, sharp turns08 Sep 2004 06:36 GMT3
I am experiencing a problem whereby the sound from all four speakers will
suddenly disappear momentarily when the car goes over bumps or through sharp
turns.  I don't think it is a problem with the ground wire or +12V wire
because the stereo stays on, still says it's playing, etc.  ...

I want to replace the factory speakers that came with my car. They

my headunit's yellow wire. I want to add an equalizer to my system.
The equalizer requires its yellow wire to connect to my car's yellow

Wiring up my single sub.07 Sep 2004 04:33 GMT6
I have a 4 channel Legacy 1080a amp.  If I used two channels bridged to one,

bridge channel 1 and 2, then 3 and 4 and run a single sub off those two
bridged channels? I don't understand all the ohm stuff ...
2 Speakers & 2 Subs?07 Sep 2004 00:13 GMT2

I am powering all 4 speakers with an MTX 200 Watt amp. I am not happy

What brands of 6x9 speakers provide bass deep enough that I wouldn't
