| Tape deck driving belt needed | 05 Dec 2004 17:42 GMT | 2 |
I need a driving belt for an old Pioneer automobile tape deck (actually badged as John Deere!). It is about 1mm square profile, and about 100mm (4in) diameter. Maplins (a British catalogue retailer) sell tape driving belts but none that long.

| Drivers for better bass drum kicks | 04 Dec 2004 22:32 GMT | 2 |
What do I need, speaker wise, in order to get clean, accurate, distortion free bass drum kicks at high volumes? I noticed that my current setup distorts at high volumes whenever there are bass kicks in the music. All my speakers are amped also.

I've been happy with my Viper alarm for quite some time now, but i've noticed now that the lights don't flash when the alarm goes off or when i'm arming or disarming the alarm. The lights stopped flashing only last month, and i can't figure out how to get them back.

| In honor of jeffc. | 02 Dec 2004 19:25 GMT | 56 |
I came across this today while looking through my bookmarks. In fact, I think I got this from somebody here a year or so ago. I figure that ol' jeffc could use this since he can hear everything perfectly and his ears are 100% accurate even if noone else's in the world are.

I just got a new Pioneer head unit - DEH-P7600MP - and I'm curious about if it's possible to change the way it handles random play. The way it is now, if it's on random play, be it CD or MP3, when you press the forward button it goes to the next track numerically instead

| Need to replace Nak cd45z-recommendations | 01 Dec 2004 18:54 GMT | 4 |
I am fed up with the inconsistent performance of my Nak cd45z...I've already taken it back for "servicing" but a year later, I'm still getting skips and problems reading CDs that I know are just fine. Can anyone provide me with some comparable units to review and test?
