| DIN Removal Tool In, but Won't Come Out | 06 Jan 2005 19:16 GMT | 1 |
I bought a DIN removal tool to make sure I could easily remove the OEM radio from my Ford Focus before I consider my replacement options. The tool slid right in, clicked into place. I pried the handles outward and the radio slid right out. Slick system. It looks like it'll be easy ...

| Old School Hifonics Pluto VIII Amp.... | 06 Jan 2005 18:17 GMT | 2 |
My friend gave this amp to me, it's a 70W RMS 2 channel amp (35x2 @ 4 ohm). It's got a white casing, and the PCB inside has sept 3 92 printed on it, so it's a bit old. My friend kinda gave me the impression it was crappy.

| Which wire does a headunit draw power from? | 06 Jan 2005 02:04 GMT | 4 |
I'm guessing that the ignition ACC switched wire only acts as a turn on lead to signal the headunit to turn on, and the unswitched yellow battery wire is used as the main power source. Can anyone confirm this?

| alarm question. | 04 Jan 2005 06:42 GMT | 2 |
I have a 2003 Buick Regal and want to put in an alarm. Thing is, I don't want to lose the stock features I do have. Keyless entry, keyless trunk latch, lights come on when keyless unlocked, lights stay on after keyless lock for 30 seconds.

| Sony car head unit flashes but won't power on | 04 Jan 2005 06:41 GMT | 1 |
Sony XR-C750 head unit (AM/FM/cassette). The unit won't power on. When I press the power button, it tries to come to life; once a second the display flashes to life (dimly) and goes off again. Is this a common problem with that era Sony's (c.1997-8)?
