it and in no hurry to junk it (good, clean 4V signal, etc).
I live in SoCal, where those little wireless FM modulators (the iTrip,

Speaker Install : Mercury Mystique16 Feb 2005 04:21 GMT4
My son's first car : 1995 Mercury mystique.  I want to install speakers in
both doors.  I did a few of those 'what fits my car' things, and it seems
that 6x8's go in both locations.  I got instructions from Crutchfield.  6x8
fit in the rear doors, but I am not sure about the front ...

Low volume from cassette-style car audio adapter15 Feb 2005 13:04 GMT5
I've got one of those cassettes that you plug into a portable CD player
or whatever to send sound through a car stereo and it works OK except
that the volume is really low.  At full volume on the stereo and on the
source (I've tried a Walkman and an iPod), I can just about hear the

anything that is 100% fiberglass sounds a lot better than combined MDF
and fiberglass, or just MDF alone. Anyone interested in buying

Hi - I recently bought the KDC-x979 head unit and while I'm happy with
