I have a Clarion DZX545MP and under the bass and treble controls there
are a few options that I have no idea what they mean, and when I

Still trying to decide on components for a stereo for a new truck, and still
have a couple of questions:
Is it a bad idea to mix 3 way (fronts) and 2 way (rear) speakers?
If I buy a 4 channel Amp, can I use 2 channels to run the fronts, 2 channels

What is actually happening when the gain on an amp is turned up and
down?  Is it throtteling down the power of the, amp, reducing the
preamp signal?

My current system is running 6 component speakers and a 12" kenwood off of
one amp, this setup is giving me such a crisp sound that i dont want to mess
with it, but i want to add more thunder in my trunk, I was thinking of
