Subs Amp Quality - D Class mono14 Mar 2005 15:43 GMT7
Just out of curiosty, right now I have my 2 JL Audio 10w0's in a
sealed box running off a Rockwood Fos 401s.  It's a 2 channel amp that
supplies more than enough power to the sub box.
Now, my question is, I didn't spend much on this amp, AND i see amps

I have looked everywhere for 35 and 40 amp blade fuses to replace a
blown fuse on my amplifier and power wire, but I cannot find them
anywhere.  I have looked in several stores and online but cannot seem to
find anything over 30 amps.  Can anyone tell me where to get these
Does Size Really Matter?14 Mar 2005 03:33 GMT1
No, not "that" size.  Now get your minds out of the gutter.  What I'm
talking about is the size of the vehicle
You see, my last car was a '92 Nissan Stanza and I had two JL 12W3's in the

In search of a new sub!14 Mar 2005 00:39 GMT1
I used the NHT 1259 for years and liked it's performance and sound
quality in my previous, small car.  Now moving up to a bigger car, I
thought about trying something different so began looking on the web to
see what is available.  I did a lot of T/S calculations lately!
What size speakers will fit here?14 Mar 2005 00:31 GMT3
Is there some sort of online database that has a list of most makes and
models of cars/trucks and what size speakers they take?  I have a 2000
Silverado truck that I'm planning on putting new speakers in.

Alpine CDA-9827 Settings13 Mar 2005 13:06 GMT5
Hello. I just picked up the Alpine CDA-9827 HU for $198 CDN. For the
features I wanted, and that price, I don't think it can be beat.
I am running a Rockford Fosgate P2002 Amp which is driving my Infinity 1030W
10" Subwoofer. Now my questions are: (please excuse if stupid.)
Mounting Depth for Sub Install Question12 Mar 2005 23:24 GMT1
My box is 7.5" deep and the driver has a mounting depth of 6.5".  Will
it be OK to have only 1" behind the sub?  What is ideal?
Amping an amp?12 Mar 2005 07:28 GMT9
In my 2005 MDX, the Bose sub barely puts out any bass, so I was looking at
putting an amp before the sub. But I dont know whether there is a preamp or
not, and if throwing an amp in there will destroy it or not.
PPI DCX1500.1 and DCX100.4 for $500?12 Mar 2005 07:20 GMT10
My buddy tried to put these new amps into his new ford. Wouldn't fit.
Wants $500 for the pair. Some minor install scratches. Is it worth it?
Subwoofer Advice12 Mar 2005 07:01 GMT5
I'm returning my DVC sub for a SVC so I can run my 2 channel amp
bridged.  I am looking at an Infinity Kappa 12.1.  I want the best SQ
sub that is ideal for a 1-1.25 cu. ft. enclosure for around 200.00.  Is
the Infinity the best choise or are there others.  My amp bridged put
