Just bought this attest Buy yesterday and had them put it in. Everything works except the dimmer switch. They did not connect the dimmer wire to the cars harness. The install sheet from Pioneer says to wire it to the dimmer terminal. Can I just connect it to the factory radio ...

This car's stock audio has the type of volume control that just keeps turning forever, with no start and stop points. Sometimes, when you turn it clockwise to increase the volume, the volume actually goes down, or least stays the same! Apparently it's not the usual pot.

While trying to ground my head unit to get rid of alternator whine, I accidentally attached my ground wire to my power inverter's power wire. Now both my new and old head units wont power up. I checked all the fuses under my hood.
