1969 912 Porsche09 Dec 2005 20:52 GMT1
Hello, I am trying to replace my 1969, 912 Porsche's radio. I was
wondering whether most head units these days have some sort of
amplifier built into them. Since the Porsche came with one speaker
(because they only had mono signal back then... no stereo signal), I

Install RCA jack extentions into Pontiac04 Dec 2005 19:18 GMT1
Recently, a friend showed me a job that circuit city did where they
attacked RCA jack extentions to his car radio and then mounted the
connectors onto the dash in so that he could plug his MP3 player into
the system for $75.  I was wondering if it were possible to do this job
FM Radio w/ interal antennae?04 Dec 2005 01:32 GMT3
I have an older Camrey (1993 w/130K miles) that is really not worth
sinking a lot of money into  Someone ripped off the antennae, and I've
been told that the only way to replace it is to replace the entire
antennae wire by removing the dash for $150.

Need a pointer or two ....02 Dec 2005 23:56 GMT8
My teenage son has totalled our 1995 Ford Windstar.  He is fine, but the
car is gone.  I figured I would salvage what I could from it before
sending it to the boneyard.  I have removed the radio with the idea that
it might make a nice little stereo system for my shop.  I think I ...
headlight question02 Dec 2005 21:19 GMT3
Any idea why my highbeams work but not my lowbeams. Replaced headlights
but still have the problem. I thought a recent radio replacement screwed
something up but had them check everything they did with no results.
They think there might be a relay that went bad. Fuses are ok.
Identifying Clifford alarm02 Dec 2005 07:38 GMT7
I bought a car with a Clifford alarm installed. I don't have any of the
arm/disarm fobs, and the alarm itself isn't doing me any good. I'd like
to disable or remove it, but don't know what model it is. I've seen
suggestions from other people here to just google for the FCC number.

Sony Head unit / phoenix gold problem01 Dec 2005 15:04 GMT3
I have a phoenix gold ZX475ti amp connected to a sony head unit. I have
had it working great for a week but now when i wind up the amp, the
head unit shuts down. I have checked that the power going to the head
unit doesn't dip and the remote amp switch on is not the problem.
