i in installed a new car stereo into my 1985 chevy truck. there are two wires for each speaker from the stereo but only one wire per speaker. how should i wire them together?

I have a VW and recently both speakers in the front were working. Now only the speaker not working is on the driver side. All other speakers work, what is goin on and how can I fix the speaker? Thanks

My roomate just got a new audiobahn amp we can't get it to work? It has power and the capacitor shows 12.5 its as if there is no music going to the amp. Has anyone ever had their rca's on the deck go out? Or any other suggestions?

What size are the speakers in the front doors? Crutchfield has 6.5 and 5.75 that supposedly fit. Does that mean they are 6.5 and you have to use an adapter to fit the smaller speakers? If I remember correctly someone here once said the Silverados actually had an opening for a 6 ...
