I bought a very cheap head unit for my second car and I have found that it's internal amp is not nearly powerful enough for my tastes, so I would like to add an external 2 channel amplifier. I don't need anything fancy or overly powerful. 25 clean watts per channel would be

I was curious to know does it matter the amount of voltage a hu put out to the rca jacks? I have a Boss hu and it says it has 5 volt pre amp outs. I am fixing to get a new car in which I will be purchasing a new hu, and I wanted to find out if the voltage output was something to

I may get a used corolla or camry in 6-8 months, and I will want to put decent speakers in the doors, also some dynamat. what kind of room is in the doors of these cars? and is getting inside easy, or difficult? any window-rolled-down clearance issues?

As we all know, OEM Bose systems have speakers that are very low impedence...1/2 ohm, or 1 ohm, or something like that. Is there any way, in terms of adding resisters and the like, to lower the impedence of regular speakers from 4 ohm down to 1/2 or 1 ohm? Something
