I bought a very cheap head unit for my second car and I have found that
it's internal amp is not nearly powerful enough for my tastes, so I
would like to add an external 2 channel amplifier.  I don't need

Speaker Impedence29 Aug 2006 21:37 GMT6
As we all know, OEM Bose systems have speakers that are very low
impedence...1/2 ohm, or 1 ohm, or something like that.
Is there any way, in terms of adding resisters and the like, to lower the
impedence of regular speakers from 4 ohm down to 1/2 or 1 ohm?  Something

First, does anyone here have this model ?  I know that the 9853 is well

used, and the learning curve of operating the unit being difficult.   I am
not sure, but  I think the  9857 has easier controls, am I ...

For my boat, I'm looking for a new 12V (car/marine) radio with not less

control ... AUX entry, so I can get the sound from my notebook via the
loudspeakers connected to the radio.
