Sub in the rear shelf, with a twist14 Oct 2006 09:59 GMT17
I want to conserve as much luggage space as possible when installing
my sub, so I have been thinking about this solution:
Install the driver in the rear shelf, just like the 6x9s, but in
addition build a (sealed) box that is hanging under the shelf into the

I have a truck that had already had a aftermarket radio. The wire
harness from the truck was torn up, so the 2 positives and the negative
are exposed. The speaker harness is intact.
The problem I am having is that when I plug the truck ACC and 12V to

I have a 2000 VW Jetta and my stereo started acting up recently. When I
drive it to work in the morning, it just blinks all the way. When i get

I have a 1996 Honda Civic HX, with a standard AM-FM radio, to which
I've attached an external CD player.  The radio's volume dial is also
its on-off switch, engaged by pushing in on the dial.  I have a problem

i recently hooked up an amp to my speakers and when i start my car there is
big bang or crack from the speakers, only for a second with the key in the
crank position.

I finally got around to moving my tweeters to my sail-panels.  They had been
mounted next to my midbass drivers in the doors (the grills covered

I just bought a Sony CDX-GT300.  When I am listening to the radio, all
the speakers sound great.  When I put in a CD, no sound comes out the
back speakers.  I am running the stock speakers in the car without any
amps ( that I know of).  I have gone through the manual and each
