Cherokee intermittanly does not play a cassette tape when the tape is

Can a 4-ohm DVC sub be wired with an impendence of 4 ohms? It seems

my 1000bd amp is making a humming noise when i put power to it.. all
that is hooked up is the ground, power, and remote. amp sits there and
