I really like the list of functionality of this impressive unit. I
want to know if perhaps there is something better or cheaper of
similar functionality.
I have a 4" hole in the dash.
New system ideas?30 Sep 2007 05:57 GMT7
I bought an 83' 280ZX back in January of this year. I've got a particular
fondness for these older "z" cars, as my first car (when I was a teenager)
was a 79' 280ZX. That's only been about 20 years now...
Any ideas on speaker type/size and placement? Where would you put coaxials
Combining capacitors of different sizes?30 Sep 2007 03:19 GMT16
Is there a problem with using the bars to connect multiple caps that
arent all the same size?  They range from 1F to 1.5F.  I was wondering
if since they are different in size they probably have different
charge and discharge rates, would one be discharging into another

recommend some very good 6x9s for full range work29 Sep 2007 16:13 GMT21
I have a late model toyota Camry and a toyota tacoma and they take 6x9s in
the front doors.  I'd like the replace them with some good 6x9 speakers.
What would be the cream of the crop for 6x9s.  Not just the ones with the
biggest price tag but the ones that actually perform well.
Recommend audio player28 Sep 2007 17:27 GMT-
Budget is up to $600. I want it to play MP3, and I want it to be able
to read DVDs or USB hard drives (I have kind of a lot of music, it
would not fit on a CD).
The ideal use would be to read USB hard drives.

FS 99 Mustang Mach 460 rear speaker assembly25 Sep 2007 15:58 GMT1
I recently sold my 99 Mustang :(. I had upgraded to speaker system in
it, and I have this one left over. It is the rear speaker plastic with
4 working speakers from the 99 Mach 460 sound system that came with
the car.

Clifford Arrow 3 Annoying Chirp24 Sep 2007 07:36 GMT8
I've recently bought a car with a Clifford Arrow 3 alarm installed.
I've got the manual and have got everything set up OK with one
exception. When I stop driving and open the car door, it
"chirps" (same noise as when it arms/disarms). I can't find any

Your local gas station probably offers you 3 levels of gasoline, like
gold, silver and bronze. These typically have different levels of
octane in them and you will generally get a little better mileage for
the more expensive type.
Is 200Hz LPF for a subwoofer too low?  Would 300Hz make a difference?21 Sep 2007 23:41 GMT5
Hi guys, I have a subwoofer amp (1000watts @ 2 ohms) that has a
variable LPF built in.  The LPF only goes up to 200Hz.
With certain songs, parts of the beat are pretty quiet, but low parts
of the beat (below 200Hz I assume) rattle my teeth loose.  It sounds
