What Cars seat 622 Jul 2004 18:55 GMT3
I have 3 small children and one on the way.  I am looking at replacing
my Ford Taurus with something newer.  We have a mini-van that we
usually use to haul the kids around but I thought it might be good to
have a car that seats everybody on the rare occasion that I need to

Cross threaded wheel lugs due to bad service22 Jul 2004 17:22 GMT8
I took a car to one of those warehouses and bought some new tires . The old
jerk pried the vanity rings off , and not only let them hit the floor , but
also kicked them across the floor putting scratches in them . Then he
started the new tires/wheeles on with the impact wrench ( ...
No more Trackers, why?22 Jul 2004 17:17 GMT16
Hello all.  After 8 yrs and 110,000 maintenance-free miles on my Geo
Tracker 2-dr convert, I decided to give it to a needy relative and buy a
new one.  Twas the coolest car I've ever owned since I was 16 (I'm now in
my late 40's).  4WD in the bad winter (here in Buffalo), neat ...

I used to work for an electric utility company and we had some hand cleaner

bigger.  The stuff was green and it was like a damp powder ...
Chevy Engine Identification22 Jul 2004 15:26 GMT2
I'm not sure where the best location to post this is, but this
seemed a good one.  I found a site (www.nastyz28.com) that told me how
to find my casting number and engine id number (or 'serial').  I found
both, and looked on the lists on that site and came up empty.
Screw(Bolts) Reduce?22 Jul 2004 15:21 GMT11
Are there screws or bolts which have threads on one end at outside and
at another end inside? One end goes into a nut and another end is like
a deep nut closed at the end where it becomes a screw?
Something like

Ignition Stitch Stuck On.22 Jul 2004 10:03 GMT2
My 1993 S10  pick up will start and run. But I can't turn the ignition
off. I have to pop the clutch with the brake on to cut the engine. The
key comes out and goes in. But the switch will not go back to off
position or any further back . When I leave the truck for any length

heating frozen bolts?22 Jul 2004 04:40 GMT20
I'm trying to get a manifold off a Honda Civic in order to replace the
clutch. The book calls for removing the exhaust manifold. Off course the
bolts/nuts are frozen. I have soaked them for a couple days in penetrating
oil and still no go. Is it possible to heat them up with a torch ...
An effective & safe oil stop-leak??22 Jul 2004 04:28 GMT7
I've used something called "Seal Lube" found on eBay. My interest was
caught by the amount of eBay feedback to the seller indicating it
worked. The stuff is a clear liquid. It claims to be designed to
re-swell seals. After about a week & 150 miles, all leaking stopped.
