| DOHC 4A-FE Corolla - interference? | 13 Oct 2004 13:38 GMT | 3 |
I'd like to know if this type of engine (in a '95 Corolla, 1.6L) is interference type or non-interference. I've seen on the web several sites that list the 4A-FE as interference, while others claim it's non-interference (maybe it differs for SOHC and DOHC?)

| Caprice Leans to the Right | 13 Oct 2004 13:20 GMT | 3 |
I was checking out a pretty nice 92 Caprice at a used car lot. The body leans over to the right side though. The fender comes down over the top of the hubcap about 2 inches on the right rear side, and the fender on the left rear side is slightly above the top of the hubcap.

| What happens when a u-joint fails? | 13 Oct 2004 11:44 GMT | 25 |
A u-joint on my 2000 Dodge pickup acts like it may be going bad. Just what happens when one fails completely while driving, maybe at highway speeds? Does the driveshaft fall off? Freeze and mess up the trans or rear end? Or just make loud noises? Mechanics have been unable to ...

| Why different inlet/outlet sizes on heaters | 13 Oct 2004 02:29 GMT | 11 |
This is a question I've had for a while and wonder if anyone here has any insights. Why do many heater cores (and maybe radiators) have different diameters for the inlet and outlet sides. For example say a 5/8" inlet

| "Destroy date" of air tank | 12 Oct 2004 22:15 GMT | 10 |
I use a portable air tank to top up my tires. I just noticed that it has a "destroy date" of 2003, i.e., supposedly isn't safe to use any more. (I've had it about 7 years.) How seriously should this be taken? Can I de-rate the max. pressure and

| 1992 Caprice 9C1 speed sensor issue, I think | 12 Oct 2004 04:08 GMT | 1 |
My 9C1's cruise control doesn't work and the antilock brake light is on. I followed a test in my manual on the cruise control and found that everything is working, but I'm getting no response from the speed sensor input to the cruise control. I've also seen that lack of speed

| Anyone know the complaint e-mail address for AutoZone? | 11 Oct 2004 22:22 GMT | 12 |
Autozone advertises that they can use their scantools to check the error codes on cars, but I've been to 3 of their stores and they can't do it. One store inserted a jumper key, then a scantool, then decided the car uses a scantool that AutoZone does not have. Does anyone know a ...
