I have a 1985 Ford F250 with a 460 gas hog engine.  It has a holley

Chevy hood latch question30 Nov 2004 01:04 GMT18
The primary hood latch on my wife's 1991 Chevy Caprice wouldn't let go
yesterday so we couldn't open the hood. By primary hood latch I mean
the one that's operated from inside the car  that releases the hood
enough to get your fingers under the grille and operate the secondary

'84 Dodge 600 Acceleration problem29 Nov 2004 23:52 GMT2
I bought a used 1984 Dodge 600SE w/ automatic transmission recently.
When I test drove it, everything seemed fine. It accelerated fine and
kicked into passing gear properly. Now it accelerates smoothly but
slowly. It will not accelerate quickly enough to use the passing gear.

without much luck.  Some topics come close but no cigar. :-)

Turkey fryer as a hot-tank?29 Nov 2004 10:11 GMT3
My father-in-law is thinking about buying a turkey deep-fryer to use as
a hottank to clean parts, such as cylinder heads, intakes, ect. It seems
to make sense, a good way to boil clean parts ourselves instead of
paying to have it done. Just let them "cook" for a couple of hours till
serpentine belt for '87 bonneville29 Nov 2004 03:11 GMT3
Does anyone know the length of belt to use when bypassing the A/C
compressor on an '87 Bonneville 3.8?  My A/C bearing is shot and it is
pointless to replace it if I can bypass it.
