Engine Question10 Nov 2004 05:03 GMT3
Well, at 147,988 my 2000 Ford Focus motor finally blew up. I spoke to
an engine rebuilder who suggested I would be better off buying a used
motor than a rebuilt one because of low tolerances to rebuild, etc.. I

Sorry, I know this is OT.
I took a car mechanics course a few years ago. We were told how to fix
the heater, which doesn't produce heat quite as fast as it used to.

Tool Usage: Slide-Bar/T-Bar handle driver08 Nov 2004 23:39 GMT2

What size drivers? 1/4? 3/8? 1/2?
WHat kinds of jobs would one typically use one of these? (also are you
a pro or DIYer?)

This problem started 3 months ago after I parked it outside on rain
Brake pressure changes after driving?08 Nov 2004 22:35 GMT4
Problem:
When applying the brakes for the first time after the car has not been
driven for a couple of hours, there is excessive brake travel and the

I don't understand this. Is DOT 3 and DOT 4 the same fluid? If it is
how come they have different numbers? Thank you for your response. Al
