Stupid strut cars27 Dec 2004 23:51 GMT23
Why do so many car manufacturers make cars that require struts these days ?
Shocks are about 15 to 20 times cheaper to install.
And who needs $1000.00 airbags, when seat belts work just fine ?
Newfangled, easily crunchable JUNK !

Anybody use any suspension simulators for any reason? If so what do you
use and how do you like it? (easy to use, understand, and did it predict
correctly?) I don't think I'd be happy to go spend three or four hundred
bucks on something I couldn't even use or that doesn't ...

internal resistor in coil question27 Dec 2004 13:33 GMT8
In the old, conventional distributor/breaker point systems, how does the
internal coil resistor let full voltage go through for starting, and then
drop it down for running?  Is it a temperature driven thing (i.e., as the
resistor warms up, the resistance drops)?

I just bought a new "direct replacement" catalytic converter for my
