I have a 1996 Camaro with a V-6 engine/manual transmission. When I drive it and sit in traffic, it begins to get hot. This has started fairly recently. I took it to the Chevrolet dealer and they replaced the water pump. It was leaking (I

| Taking pictures of a cylinder without removing the head? | 06 Feb 2005 13:31 GMT | 3 |
Hi. I remember seeing an ad about a year ago for an inexpensive fiber optic type gadget that allowed you to take pictures of inaccessible places. For example, they showed a picture of one being lowered through a spark plug hole to take digital pictures of the inside of an

| Hard downshift 94 Chrysler T&C auto trans | 06 Feb 2005 12:31 GMT | 7 |
It is noticeable when our 1994 T&C van 2wd with 88,000 miles down shifts to 1st gear. We never noticed this before and lately it seems to down shifts hard to 1st. When I say hard, it's like a clunk sound. When the other gears down shift, it is not that noticable...very smooth.

| Advice Needed: Blower Motor Control, '96 Chev Cavalier | 05 Feb 2005 19:51 GMT | 1 |
Greetings! I've got a '96 Chev Cavalier Z-24. The lower 2 speeds on the blower motor switch don't work, but the upper 2 do. I figured this was a blower motor resistor problem, but when I went to Murray's Auto Parts, their computer listed no

How do you know if McPherson struts are bad - do you employ the "bounce test"? My 95 Cougar doesn't seem to handle as well as it used to, seems to kind of ripple a little and lean while speeding thru the Dallas

| Tire mold nubs? | 05 Feb 2005 11:54 GMT | 1 |
I just got a set of new tires this week. They were Pirelli Pzero Nero M+S in a stock P205/55-R16 size to replace the horrendous Bridgestone Potenza RE92 tires that came on my Subaru Impreza WRX. I don't know what it is about the Bridgestone model that

| Should I Purchase A Rebuilt Engine Or Repair Existing One? | 05 Feb 2005 11:25 GMT | 4 |
I have a 1995 Isuzu Trooper with nearly 200,000 miles on it. Within the last three years, I've replaced the water pump, timing belt, timing belt tensioner, and those pesky spark plug well valve cover O-rings that tend to leak like a sieve and flood the spark plug chamber. Per

1994 accord. I was driving about 55 MPH, with my A/C on, when I noticed that smoke was coming out of the center a/c vent. I shut the a/c off and the smoke stopped coming out.

| Parked 1 year - how to prep? | 05 Feb 2005 02:10 GMT | 1 |
I've got a 1994 Camaro 6-cyl. which has been parked for more than a year, with no prep done. The battery was removed about five months ago, but other than that, it is exactly as it was parked the last time it was driven, in January 2004.

| O2 Sensor-2001 Galant-HELP!! | 04 Feb 2005 23:39 GMT | 9 |
Ok, here's the story. My service engine light came on and the car started hesitating when I would accelerate. Had a mechanic read the code and he said my pre-cat O2 sensor is shot. Replaced the part myself and drove about 120 miles the next day. Car was running great and no

Two months back I purchased 2 cavaliers without seeing them (big mistake), even though I didn't pay much, I'm starting to have my doubts. The original idea was to get a car for cheep and fix it up while

| Tundra engine in a T-100 | 04 Feb 2005 22:21 GMT | 2 |
I have a 96 T-100 with 140,000 miles on it. I like the truck but it could use more power. Does anyone know if a Tundra V-8 engine and transmission can be put into a T-100. I'd like to keep my truck and just put in a junkyard tundra engine.
