1952 Dodge M37 - Military Truck - Should I bid or pass?04 Feb 2005 22:11 GMT5
How hard is it to find parts for this truck.  I am considering
bidding on one.  The Wisconsin Department of Military Affairs has two
of them for Online Auction at WisconsinSurplus.com.  They say they
are not running, how hard are these to work on?  Would it be a good
Need axles for a 2001 Impala - where?04 Feb 2005 21:38 GMT1
Does anyone know of an aftermarket manufacturer of axles for a 2001
Impala, 3.8L police model?  OEM are $360 a piece, and I'm having a
hard time finding anything aftermarket.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Might be a blown head gasket, might not... How to tell?04 Feb 2005 14:54 GMT11
My '82 Mazda 626 - 2.0 liter inline four with no computer, in front of a
5 speed stick - has been giving me some weirdness lately that I simply
haven't been able to track down. It's intermittent, so that's not
helping the troubleshooting process. I *THINK* I've got it narrowed ...
stereo loses settings when startup04 Feb 2005 03:42 GMT21
Help!  Got a '55 Studebaker.  Aftermkt. mp3/cd/amfm radio.  If I set
stations, it remembers fine going from on to off to access to off.  But!
When I start i, the starter seems to drop the "voltage threshold"(at least
that's what I visualize) such that all memory settings are ...
Best Windshield Wipers03 Feb 2005 18:34 GMT18
Did a search on this topic and can't find any *good* current info (it's
all 1992 and previous). I will provide my opinion on this matter. I
currently use a pair of wipers blades I bought at Target (somewhere
around 1996 or 97). I have been using that same pair of wiper blades
Chevy Beretta or Cavalier?03 Feb 2005 17:27 GMT8
Ok, I know both are cheap chevys, but was wondering if either was
reasonably decent and reliable cars.
GM3.1L no spark03 Feb 2005 16:12 GMT26
As per sublect line.....no spark. Verified crank sensor working (.7v
pulses), swapped ignition module with a known good one, and have 12v at
the module input. I know from past experience that a bad coil van
completely knock out the spark on the rest of the coils....tried using
tire sizing question03 Feb 2005 10:55 GMT4
A quick question for you tire pros out there:
Can I use a set (4) of 185/60/R14 tires in place of my oem set of
185/65/R14 tires? I have a 2000 corolla. Are there any potential
problems (tires rubbing against wheel wells etc.)?
Saturn Starter?03 Feb 2005 01:37 GMT3
This is going to sound lame, but where is the starter?  It is a 93
Saturn Twin Cam.  I removed the plastic sheild from underneath.  I
followed the belhousing and for the life of me, I can't find it!
Please Help!
96 Nissan Sentra: How do you pull codes?02 Feb 2005 23:18 GMT1
I have a 96 Nissan Sentra GXE.  Recently my check engine light lit up
and stayed on.  I came on when the car was overheating because of a
faulty radiator cap which I replaced.   I am trying to figure out how
to pull the codes to see if there is anything else wrong.   I know I
4.6L Lincoln TC noise when engine is OFF02 Feb 2005 20:01 GMT6
I have a '99 Town Car, 4.6L.  Periodically when the engine HAS BEEN OFF
for a while, there will be what sounds like a whirring or buzzing sound
that lasts 5-10 seconds.  By chance I was able to approximate where it
was coming from one day when the hood was up... sound was coming ...
gas guzzling and no leaks02 Feb 2005 19:00 GMT3
My 1991 Cutlass goes through gas like crazy lately with no smell of gas
or apparent leaks. I  recently replaced  the exhaust manifold and the
spring bolts do not form a perfect seal. Could this be tricking the
computer into running a super rich mixture. I have noticed this problem
new struts for corolla?02 Feb 2005 04:07 GMT5
What do I need to know before getting new struts for my corolla?
Do I need both rear struts if only one seems to be bad (cupping)?
Do I need 4-wheel alignment to be done afterwards?
Would you trust Goodyear to do this kind of job if you were me?
89 Camry - Temperature gauge spikes for a minute and then goes back down02 Feb 2005 04:00 GMT4
So about a year ago the temperature gauge on my dash started spiking up
and then would go down real quick. Sometimes it stays up for a while
and sometimes it's just up for a quick second. Sometimes it just jumps
a little and sometimes it goes all the way into the red. It happens in
1997 Mercury Marquis wiper arm02 Feb 2005 02:06 GMT1
Can anyone tell me how to replace the wiper arm, drivers side , on a 97
Marquis?  There is a weird little gadget with a tab near the attachment
point, but I can't see how it works.
Better yet, any ideas on increasing the spring pressure on this arm to
