The interior heat/AC fan on my 87 Olds Cierra remains on high regardless of interior switch positions or ignition position. I have to unplug it under the hood when I turn the car off so it doesn't drain the battery. Would this be a blower motor problem (short?) or a problem

I installed a new oil filter on a 98 ford escort, however, I cross threaded it. does anyone have any idea how to remove it? I tried using the the socket wrench, but it doesn't move.

I was checking spark plug wires with my ohmmeter and just want to make sure I know what I am looking at: When I set my meter at 20k ohms and measure an 18 inch plug wire, one wire reads 1.09 which I interpret to be 10,900 ohms which would be ok

We have a 1993 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer, it has the V6 and is supposed to be 4x4, but that doesn't work (nothing happens when you push the button). We picked up the car to use around town, we have a nasty driveway in the winter as well.
