I have a 1995 Pontiac Transport with a 3.8L engine and 140,000 miles. Just recently it started running rough like one cylinder wasn't firing. Took it to my mechanic friend and he said it was the coil. I had some other issues so I had him fix them as well. Here's what he did...

I just purchased a 1999 Ford Taurus and I'm satisfied with the car but have noticed a problem.The windshield wipers comes on by themselves occasionally.Has anyone else had this problem and how was it fixed? Thanks

How can I read the 3.5 inch Sun floppy discs on a computer? Windows will not recognize them. Also, how can I store car data I enter into the Interrogator onto a disc so I won't have to manually enter it ever again?

After 8000 miles since the last oil change, the oil indicator came on. The dealer said it needed about 3 quarts of oil. The 1993 X5 has about 40K total on it. Is it normal that the oil level drops that much? Thanks,

I went on business trip the Brasil last week. Pretty much all the gas stations sold alcohol as a fuel and at most if not all pumps. (I didn't know enough Portuguese to be able to ascertain if it's 100% alcohol or a mix with gas). The price was about 1/2 that of gas, tho at $3.50 ...

I have a 1990 Dodge Caravan 2.5 L engine and the darn thing is flooding BAD I mean black smoke out the tail pipe, And as can be gussed the gas milliage is terrible the O2 Sensor and the Mass air flow sensor have been replaced along with the air filter, spark plugs

Any suggestions please. 1992 Plymouth Acclaim cranks strong -- battery at 12.5 volts -- but won't start. Hasn't been started for 36 hours before discovery of the problem. Engine code is 55. Fuel filter is several years old. Alternator is new.

So I get a new charcoal canister with surge valve attached as the local prime.pronto and another good parts dealer cannot find just the solenoid alone for my model from the ac delco catalog. ok ! after delivery I put it in , power it up at idle and test it at the purge
