| sbc mean bearing question | 05 Jul 2005 01:03 GMT | 2 |
I'm changing bearings in my "free" Chevy 307 for my enduro car... the rods were within spec (.0020 IIRC) and the bearings were marked 0005 OS so that's what I'm replacing them with, but I'm confused on the mains - they're marked 0012 on the cap side and 0006 on the block side.

| Rust Paint don't mix with Standard Paint? | 04 Jul 2005 12:50 GMT | 1 |
I was told that if you use or paint rust paint on a car over rust spots and later paint over the rust paint with regular auto paint, the auto paint will peel off. Some rust paints even say on the label like "Do not apply paints containing strong
