V twin Motorcycle just purchased it used and inadvertently ran about an hour with the choke on, What will this do? I know it is bad for it and I will be carefull not to do it again. will it be ok or what do I need to get checked?

Car cranks and runs perfect when the engine is cold. If you shut the engine off and try to immediately crank it, no problem cranks and runs fine BUT, if you let it sit for 15 minutes or so after shutting the engine off the engine will not fire at all until completely cold again. I ...

Romm air conditioners are rated in amount of heat they can suck out of the room measured in BTU/hour. I wonder, if you compare room A/C units to car units - how much stronger the car unit has to be ? Do you know what is an average BTU/hour for a car A/C system?

Is it advisable to switch pads from the left to the right wheel to even out wear. The pads are worn 1/4" on one side and approx 1/8 on the other.

I could lift my land rover by about 3 to 4 feet in my garage before it hits the ceiling, and my other car probably enough to walk under. I don't really want a permanent 2 post lift, as its nice to just drive in straight for most of the time.

I used to think idling (maybe more than 5 min) was bad for engine, but then I read elsewhere that it's no worse than driving. I think i read that idling with AC on puts alot of stress on the engine. Is this true? Should I turn off the AC if idling for more than 5 minutes? I
