| HID's or maybe just SYLVANIA SILVERSTARS | 17 Jul 2005 19:04 GMT | 4 |
I see a lot of activity about HID's. I would like to install 4100-4300k HID's on my RSX-S (Honda). I have read that the stock reflectors designed for Halogen lamps "are not designed for the high intensity light of HID's"

As there have been so many posts lately about A/C systems, does anyone remember the system that was developed several decades ago that used compressed air as the refrigerant?

While on a trip to Florida the anti-lock brake light came on. It was solid and not flashing, so according to the owners manual, the brakes were ok, but I did not have ABS brakes. I've noticed that the light comes on intermittingly. Sometimes when I get in and drive it'll stay ...

| Volvo 240 main FI relay wiring? | 16 Jul 2005 15:13 GMT | 9 |
OK.... it's an intermittent fault so the mechanic will NEVER find it. I of course suspect the main relay (replaced once, like 10 years ago). So... thought I'd wire in a switch across the terminals which I could use to bypass it when it is being uncooperative, and either prove or

| timing lamp on ECU car - wire connection to earth ? | 16 Jul 2005 14:49 GMT | 3 |
Excuse me for checking this beforehand on the forum. When checking timing marks with a lamp, one said to me there should be a wire from the harness connected to earth/ground to ensure a fixed advance, which can then be adjusted. This distributor is still manually adjustable.

| Any Camaro fans out there? | 15 Jul 2005 22:49 GMT | 2 |
I've owned a 1978, a 1985, and currently a 1994 and 1969 Camaro. M first Camaro was a '78 with built small block. It was extremely fas (for a while), but it had zero trunk space and it seemed I wa constantly working on it. My second Camaro was an '85 with a v6. I

| 97 Blazer A/C | 15 Jul 2005 12:01 GMT | 3 |
Condensed story: Buy used car when cold, can't really tell if a/c really works, assume it does (yeah, dumbass me). 3 days later it's like 75, a/c does not work at all, nothing, hot air. Complain to dealer as it was advertised as A/C, they agree to 'fix' it. Take it to dealer,

| '68 Galaxie starter relay wiring | 15 Jul 2005 11:14 GMT | 10 |
I don't trust the wiring at the starter relay on this '68 Galaxie. I checked the volts at the battery today, with the car idling and got about 11.5v on a fully charged battery. The alternator (battery wire) is hooked up to the starter side of the

| Ford Grenada A/C problem | 15 Jul 2005 05:14 GMT | 2 |
My A/C always comes out very cold, it never cycles on and off. I can push the heat lever to the right to shut it off, but even if I move it to the right a small amount and it shuts off, it won't come back on. Shouldn't there be a thermostat somewhere

| mushy brakes | 15 Jul 2005 02:53 GMT | 6 |
I have a 98 tercel with mushy brakes. I need to push right down before I get braking power, and even then I'm not able to stop suddenly. Am I corect in assuming there is air in the brake lines? If so, how much do garages usually charge to bleed brakes?
