have had severe problems when the plastic manfolds decompose or begin to
leak coolant into the crankcase.

it - just a very nasty thick scratch and scraping of the paint. Since the
car is 10 years old, I'm not going to take it in just ...

Timing belt - change or not31 Aug 2005 00:28 GMT11
1990 Integra, belt is 7-8 years old, 120,000 kms since last change. I
examined both sides and entire length of the belt and can find no evidence
of wear, cracks, etc. I know the replacement interval is 100,000 kms or 5
years but this belt looks like new.

hasn't started up for 6 hours.  I hooked up an inductive timing light

"Sucking oil past the rings"30 Aug 2005 03:01 GMT14
Many years ago, my father told me it was a good idea to release the
accelerator once in a while whilst driving in order to "suck oil past
the rings". Apparently this action aided in lubricating the rings in
order to prolong their lifespan.
