I am looking to re-finish the wheels on a 2003 G35. They have what I might call a smoked silver or perhaps titanium paint finish. The dealer doesn't carry wheel paint and doesn't have a source. Thanks,

| Trouble taking apart alternator | 06 Oct 2005 18:47 GMT | 10 |
My alternator stopped "alternating", so I took the one out of my "parts car" to replace it with until I could deal with the problem. However I did something really idiotic. I broke the positive terminal bolt. So I have a working alternator that I can't use. I assume that the

I recently had a bad AAA tow and put four new tires on my car yesterday (98 Buick Century). The garage said they couldn't align the car to specifications because of how the tow bent the parts connecting the rear tires (I don't know anything about cars).

i am looking at an antique truck. The original engine was replaced with a Chevy 350 crate engine. Otherwise it looks original. Problem is, when you start the engine it sounds like a hot rod -- throaty muscle car type of sound. I want a sedate old car sound. My question -- is this ...

| Smokey Chrysler | 04 Oct 2005 00:44 GMT | 5 |
My 88 Chrysler started to smoke so the head gasket was changed. When the head was off I noticed the #1 cylinder was oily and black. I thought changing the head gasket would cure the problem but still smokes . Could the valve guide/oil seals be the culprit?
