Question: removal of Windshield wiper on 1985 Mercury Grand Marquis28 Dec 2005 00:53 GMT3
This question makes me feel like an idiot.but I really need an answer.
On my Dads 1985 Mercury Grand Marquis we needed to change the rubber on
the drivers side wiper. The local stores do not sell the rubber
replacements any more so I picked up the entire head assembly from

I have inherited my daughters '97 Geo Metro LSI and it is in really
good shape except for the dash which has badly oxidized from sitting in
the Florida sun from grey to almost white. Is there anything that can
be done, short of replacing it, to remove the oixidation? Suggestions

I am hoping someone out there has an answer for me.  My daughter has a
2001  Saturn SL series.  We have replaced the coil pack, but still
cannot get the car to start.  We believe the pump relay switch needs to
be reset, but have not been able to locate.  I would appreciate any

I just finished a rebuild on the engine of a 93 mx-3 1.6L engine,
rebuilt the head only, not the block.
But how when im trying to set the timing, i cant get it below 8 degrees
of timing advance and the engine idles high (1500 rpm) the distribuiter

Does anyone know how to change timing belt on Mercury Villager '96? I
just wonder how difficult it is to do it? I've done a lot simple work
on my car but nothing that serious like changing timing belt.

The daytime driving lights stay on even when the 97 Taurus is turned off.
The high beams do not seem to work either and the highbeam indicator is on
when the headlights are off.  Any ideas???

I have a '91 Geo that has almost 200k miles on it. Still runs great and I'm
about to replace the front struts.
However, I have noticed a lot of play in the front end and especially on
grooved highways. I thought that it was cause by worn front control arm

This is one person's testimony:
I drive a 2005 Toyota Solora.  I normally get 22 mpg in the city.  On
my last fill up using the powder, I got 33.2 mpg in the city!!  I love
the powder, and wouldn't be without it!  Also, I always have to fill up

I removed the dash on my '96 Jimmy to fix a heating problem.. replaced
the dash and all the plugs and whatnot, the thing started right up and
no engine light.. all the lights work and windows etcetera, however..
with key off turning on the lights displays the turn signal arrows on

I've been having some major problems with a Mercury Sable 89
vehicle...before it was just the power steering fluid leaking out...now
it's got it so that it has to really rev up before changing into the
next gear.

Aftermarket Manual indicates to just pry this large Dash Center trim panel
out of hidden recessed retaining clips to access heater control panel screws
to access rear of this control panel to change bulbs.  Center trim panel
seems very tight and is also around ignition switch, ...
